What a great dining experience! 6/3/17 Having just finished a visit to Bossier LA from Texas, by fluke we drove by "Ernest's" stopped in to eat. (Don’t let the appearance of the building fool you) There were four of us. Three of us were chefs. Food and service was outstanding despite that during our dining experience a storm knocked out their power to the restaurants and Chef Ernest and his crew had to cook by candle light and a spot light! When visiting ask for "Patrick" he is one of the Old School servers. He will pamper you. The entire dining experience lasted well over 2 hours. Don't be in a hurry when you visit.

We love Ernest's. The food is wonderful, especially the crab claws and the shrimp. The service is great, very attentive and friendly. Be prepared for a longer meal. Each course is served with time to be eaten before the next course arrives. I love not being rushed through my food, having time to savor it and enjoy the evening.

My wife and I chose Ernest's Orleans Restaurant for our 31st wedding anniversary. And it was great. "G" our server/bartender was fun and took good care of us. We had oysters on the half shell, shrimp cocktail and the rack of lamb with a glass of wine. And is was so good. We were surprised when the whole staff came out and wished us a "Happy Anniversary" and gave us a complimentary anniversary cake. Job well done Ernest and Tina

This restaurant was amazing. Everything we ordered tasted great, they even split our portions in 2 for us because we shared an entree. I recommend the gumbo and the oysters.

My wife and I dined there last night and the food was awesome. We order a couple of seafood platters that's not on the menu. There was so much food on the platter we took over half of it home. The service was fast and great. Thanks chef Earnest for a great night out.

Excellent seafood and fantastic live music! The service was first-rate from the valet to the waitstaff. It was well worth the high prices. The low-key atmosphere was welcoming to the casually dressed, as well as to those dressed for a night on the town.

“Nice place for special celebration” This restaurant is one of the nicest places in town. This is the place to go when you want an elegant dinner. The food was fabulous. I ordered seafood and my husband steak. The wait staff is very knowledgeable to recommend whatever entree you might be in the mood for.
