The restaurant business is something Palmisano has known most of his life. His father, Ernest Palmisano Sr., who owned Ernest's Supper Club on the riverfront, had been in the business since the 1940s until his death in 1983. Chef Palmisano's restaurant is first-rate, well-known both in and out of Shreveport-Bossier City and continues to grow in reputation.
The accolades; including Restaurateur of the year in 1994 to his most recent recognition of his community involvement and celebrity Chef at the 9th Annual Gentleman's Cookoff continue to pile up. Always giving his best, Chef Ernest personally prepares and inspects every dish leaving his kitchen. His personal touch and welcoming environment are evident every time guests walk through the door.
